hi del,
have a look at trackscotland who have an event on 1st may - myself and mark will be there, mark in his mk1 turbo, me in either my mk1 na or porsche 944 (if it doesn't break down again !)
it's fully booked just now but you could get on the reserve list

also see another track night which is being organised by someone else outwith trackscotland

I think the MX5 track days have fallen by the wayside. I'm not sure if even Dreadnought are doing them anymore.

Was Just on a Dreadnought track day :-)

Have you been on a track before Del?

The "other track night" well it's a bit expensive and it's for newbies, so the standard of ettiquette (sp) might not be very hi

Your welcome to come along on the 1st & I can take you round etc

that'll be me out then !

whilst stopped at roadworks (just outside of kirknewton - be careful) a people carrier came screaming round the blind corner, tyres smoking as he tried to stop, i floored it to get out of the way but was too late and the rest, as they say, is history (as is my 944 by the way the insurance are talking)

i could bring the mx5 instead but my head and neck are a little fragile just now so a night on the track is not a good idea.

so whoever gets my place, have fun, i'll be back for the next event.

been to the doctors, still got a bit of a headache but nothing too serious, more concerned about the car to be honest. from the responses on the porsche owners club, it's most likely to be written off but i'm interested in buying it back and having it repaired, depending on what kind of settlement i get.

shame to miss out on another track session, i was looking forward to finding out how it compares to the mx5 round knockers. if the weather improves, i might head up and check out the action from the pit lane.

Wrong place at the wrong time. Hope you manage to get it back on the road.

Hello there. Does look a nasty knock and I guess an insurance write off. However does look an easy repair. However you need a closer look in the boot. If I can be of help please get in touch. Robin.
