Drovethis road many many times in all weathers when the company i worked for were building a shooting lodge on Corrour Estate affectionately or more likely not so affectionately known by the locals in the area as the pink palace - certainly a road worth travelling in all seasons

C & H,
If that's the Tetrapak lodge at the east end of Loch Ossian, it is rather stunning with fabulous views down the loch. I am walking in to Loch Ossian Hostel in 3 weeks tima and I'm looking forward to seeing it again. I was probably last there about 3 or 4 years ago.

Who were the folks out that day?

As far as I am aware the only Malcolm GS and myself are still members, but perhaps some others will come out of the woodwork - it was 10 years ago this year.

We nearly didn't get there as it snowed heavily in Stoney and Aberdeen before we set off - Polly and I actually got stuck five miles from the house, but after a detour we made it and yes the snow on the Cullins made it really special.

Malcolm GS had a more eventful trip than the rest of us - he had just fitted his turbo... he can tell the rest.

Easter 1999, set off from Aberdeen and Stoney headed across to Speyside then west then north, round Skye for 24 hours including walking! then back home via Plockton and Inverness. Stayed two nights in Portree.

Yes we should do it again.

Tetrapak lodge it is indeed - great views from the "pyramid" glass both down the loch and back to Ben Alder

I was gobsmacked when I saw the "pyramid"! I could just imagine sitting in the window space looking along the loch....magic!
Work was still being done on the building when I was last there.

To Liatach the view from the Pyramid is stunning and the view from the roof is not too shabby either which these pictures are from but unfortunately taken almost at nightfall

Many thanks for the photographs. I really appreciate you taking the time to post them. I don't suppose Mrs Tetrapak will let me have a look around on the 20th?!!!
