Going to see Extreme at the Carling with my daughter Lesley on Saturday - £30 a ticket, so that's my entertainment budget on empty!

Looking forward to it though, we saw them in the 90's and they were outstanding!!

Check out their new album too - good stuff.

Ah, my rock n roll youth.

I saw Gun a couple of times in the late 80s - first time was at QMU supporting Vow Wow (yes - honest) in 1987. My claim to fame was blowing up Dante Gizzi's 400watt Trace Elliot amp worth thousands (which was borrowed through a friend of a friend for a gig in Ayr) :oops:

I also saw Extreme at QMU in about 1990 - I spent the whole gig in the bar upstairs! :roll:

I don't think my ears could stand the racket nowadays.
