Andy
Sorry for the last minute detour off the motorway and into the Clyde Tunnel but John being a thrill seeker and having read Douglas' account of the joys of top down in the tunnel we decided - on radio - to try it out.
As you no doubt found out it was well worth the effort!!!! Hope joe and you enjoyed your run today- Douglas has a lot to answer for. Thanks to ALAN for a great run.

Great run today, nice to see some new faces, :D hope you come back. Thanks again to Alan for the run and Alan's brother Billy for his radio work.

Clyde Tunnel..glad you managed to experience that delight on the way home, I could just about make out your intentions on the radio, after I turned off at Paisley.

Remember that BMW Z4 I was wittering on about when we were going over the Rest... http://www.mx5ocforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?p=73093#73093 seems he was a bit jealous of us, :D well not quite, more the weather we had for our run. 8) 8) Decent of him to post anyway.

Hi Guys,
Thnx for a great day, we both really enjoyed it, although I have to say the Clyde Tunnel was an experience ( erm Jo didnt like it at all ). We were both still talking about the reaction we got when 21 ( i think it was about that many ) 5's descended on Oban..... We are definitly up for the next run...

Douglas whats the plan for the Nationals, Jo and I are on Holiday the week before and were thinking of going down on the Friday and coming back with you guys on Sunday?

Once again a big thanks to everyone and especially Alan for arranging it all.

Andy and Jo.

WOOO HOOO - I LOVED IT!!!!! Could you tell??

What a way to learn how to drive your car PROPERLY.

Thinking about doing it all again this weekend with hubby.

Best bits were doing the old road at North Creran Bridge (wanted to go round again on Sunday) and showing off though Oban.

Thanks to everyone for making us so welcome and also to Alan for his hard work in organising it all.

Alan, Great choice of roads, I'll second Fi's comments about the North Creran Bridge loop. . It was also nice to be up near the front behind someone who can get the most out of the 5. Thanks for letting me take over at the last bit.   . Good choice of Lunch stop too.

Hi Alan,

We had a great day on Sunday. Nice choice of roads, fantastic weather, and nice lunch. Enjoyed the "cruise" around Oban.

Would just like to echo the previous comments and say thanks to Alan for a very well organised run!! Weather couldn't have been much better and the route was just fantastic! (shame about all the other Sunday traffic though ;))

Hopefully see you all again soon! :D
