New on my CD - Kid Rock

Postby IanH » Mon Jun 23, 2008 7:30 pm

Just purchased (£5.99 @ play.com - other retailers are available) is Kid Rock's album Rock n roll Jesus, I picked up on the track 'All Summer Long' which is getting a lot of airplay just now (Sweet Home Alabama sample) and ordered the CD. Must say it has to be a candidate for the best driving CD of the year. 8)

Those of you who know Kid Rock already will know what I'm talking about when I say if you like Seger, Springsteen, Cougar Mellencamp and Axl Rose mixed up then this good old fashioned loud Rock 'n Roll music will hit the spot :D

I'll be the one in the Dark Blue 5 annoying the neighbourhood with the volume turned up to 11

NB - Very explicit lyrics are involved in some tracks.

I doubt Ford could come up with something that warrants an ASBO, but Ferrari ASBO or Lambo ASBO does have a certain ring to it  Do you think it will take off?

I've got a couple of Kid Rock albums but I'd say the ones I have lean more towards a Rock/Hip-Hop fusion kind of style (which is fine by me). I'll probably check out the new album. It seems to be getting a lot of positive press.
