Would love to, but can't. We saw them setting up at Charterhall last week - should be a great event (actually lots of great events).

Yup. Going down for this. Trying to decide which stages to go to. Anyone suggest best stages and places to stand. Unfortunately won't be in the 5 cause there is 3 or 4 of us going. Hope it rains for loads of side on action.

Good day at the rally, its a beautiful area too (looking forward to the run to Duns in July) and the Eunos was brilliant all day too :D

Some pics...

Full throttle through a village

Suzuki Swifts are amazingly fast. Also mind the road sign on the left

Possibly the best rallycar for spectators ever built: the Escort. They go sideways everywhere :D

And it took a while but... it went down

The Land Rover Cup.... it does look silly

Not as much fun as the old Escort

Audi A3 was very fast and made very good noise :D

Another cool Escort

Also had great day. Took in three stages Eyemouth,Fogo and Ayton. Eyemouth had to be the highlight. Incredibly fast stage. Morning stage had to be stopped cause a Mitsubishi wern't up in flames. Fantastic long straight with jumps. Will try and post some pics too.

Aye, i was at Eyemouth in the morning (the stage furthest from my house, but time was convenient), payed 5 pounds to get into a spectator area which wasn't that good, saw exactly 4 cars pass and then the stage was cancelled and i had 3 hours to kill untill the next accesible stage

Did Fogo and Ayton too, they were good :D

You could always volunteer to marshall next year. Marshalls are the mainstay of all motorsport and it is the cheapest way to get close to the action. Some events even pay you!
