Have managed to get vouchers from Knockhill for 50% off gate admission price for this event (?10.00 normal price) will hand them out at Rannoch Station Run or Pub meet on 2nd June, alternatively we could meet up somewhere before going to Knockhill.
Apart from the Max 5 series this is also the 3rd round of the BARC championship so there should be a good variation of cars and classes. There will be free admission on the Saturday where qualifying rounds and some races will take place, this would be a better day to get closer to the cars and drivers with the main championship races taking place on the Sunday.
Either way both days should be interesting and I'm certainly looking forward to them.

Douglas,
Save me a couple of vouchers if you can (for me and the missus). I won't make the Rannoch Run (I'll be with the West London crew on Arran!) but we'll all be at Knockhill on the Friday.
Cheers,
Kev

Will be trying to make it to Rannoch run (work permitting) with the missus (it's where we got engaged!) but definitely going to Knockhill on Friday 27th....
Not quite, but we were on a break at Kinloch Rannoch (Dunalistair Hotel - http://www.dunalastair.co.uk) and I came over all romantic after a walk at Queen's View on Loch Rannoch....
Not been back to that area since (was only 2 years ago), but it would be nice to get back up there!
Err, I forgot that my best mates stag do is that weekend so I definately can't make the Saturday, and probably won't make the Sunday. Douglas, if I can make it up I'll just pay the full whack so please don't keep a voucher aside for me.
Those of you going to this tomorrow are in for a real treat. A few of us went today and saw 10 brilliant laps that even had the commentators struggling for words - "You can't get two cars side by side through there!" he kept saying. Well on lap 10 as the rain started and the track got greasy, it became true and a car spun. It was clouted by several others including a head on with one of the back runners and the red flags came out 5 laps before the end. a sad way to finsih, but wow! what fantastic racing ("and what a fantasic little car the MX5 is" said the commentator).
Top notch stuff.
