I'm putting the Eunos up for sale this week. Where should I take it on my last drive???

When I traded in my Scooby, I took it up to Glencoe and down Glen Etive for a final blast. :D

Normally and in better weather would suggest Arrochar, Strachur, Dunoon and back across to Gourock on the Ferry, but and to cut the odds of any mishaps with the weather, a couple of circular routes we sometimes take, I'm sure you will know these roads:-

Take the Dams road from N' Mearns to Barrhead (short but major Twisties :D :D )

Take the Barrhead to Irvine road (quiet and mostly fast bits with sweeping bends :D )

At Lugton take the Beith Road (excellent long straights with tight bends :D )

At Beith turn left and follow road to Kilbirnie (sorry boring bit  )

Leave Kilbirnie for Largs road (fast and interesting all the way to the Brae, now enjoy the cars handling though the tightest of downhill hairpins :D )

Turn left for Fairlie and follow the coast road all the way to the Roundabout at Monkton (good views before Ardrossan, open it up over the bypass :D , unless you see any white vans in the layby's  . Unfortunately the Irvine to Ayr road is the boring bit  )

At Monkton take the A77 back towards Glasgow.

At Fenwick get off the new M77 and take the old A77 all the way to Eaglesham Moors road (much more interesting :D )

After going under M77 at Junction 6 turn right for Eaglesham (old moors road although narrowed down, is quiet and far better :D )

Follow on back to R'glen.

Alternatively:-

Take M8 to Greenock, onto Gourock, then A78 to Inverkip, Wemyss Bay, Largs same route over Ardrossan Bypass, left for Kilwinning, through Kilwinning, left for Auchentiber (B778) left for Lugton and Barrhead then reverse of above.

Good choice Douglas, been on that route before!

Nearly nearly nearly went to Glencoe and Glen Etive today, but ended up going for a long leisurely lunch instead...

I'll probably outgrow the car before i sell it!
