Hi everyone

Hi

I have just joined the owners club and thought I should introduce myself and my car. I have owned my 5 for just over a year now and totally love it. I spent a lot of time working on it over the summer, dealing with rust etc.

Here are a couple of pics

I have plenty of plans for it when money and time allows, including getting the suspension sorted and getting a new set of wheels for it.

I will hopefully be coming to the Tech day on the 25th so look forward to seeing some of you there.

Thanks Sarah

Thanks for everyones kind words, I am really looking forward to Sunday now. I think it looks a little better in the photos than real life, what you cant see from the photos is the slight difference in the paint colour on the rear arches and on the part pf the front section of the offside front wing where I sprayed it up myself after dealing with its rust problems. I do spend a lot of time cleaning it, just love pottering around the car, making it as good as possible. You can also make out in the photos that the paint on wheel centres is very bad, but I plan to change the wheels at some point, so not to worried.

Welcome to the forum! Very clean looking car. Looks like your brake fluid could do with a freshen up though!
