Only when it comes to girls

When looking for my Mk I, the only colour demand that i had was "not white with a black roof", its such a beauty that no other colour scheme can spoil it for me :D

I picked up a cover on ebay for mine (don't have a garage). Seems to work ok . Ithink I paid about £45 for it. Worth it to keep all the crap off the car.

Just bought the car with low miles and want to try and keep it that way so plan is to only use at weekends (will probably change when daughters return from Uni and demand use of my weekday car).

What a disapointment!

Postby buchaille » Fri Nov 16, 2007 11:30 am

Picked up our 05 1.8 icon in silver yesterday and all I can say is what a disapointment!

The car is kinda slow, too noisy and grip around bends isn't all I thought it would be. Also the steering is a bit vague, doesn't give off the sharp feel I was expecting in a car of this type.

My fiance would have been better sticking to her old 96 Megane 1.6 RT Sport, much more fun to drive, nippier all round with better handling and greater straight line speed.

For everyone reading who is not my fiance all I can say is -

WWWWWWEEEEEEEEHHHHHHHEEEEYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!

IT MINE, MINE YOU HEAR? SHE'S NOT GETTING IT!!!!!!!!!!

(Just fallen in love with driving again)
