I think I'm in love......

Postby priscilla » Sun Sep 30, 2007 7:29 pm

Hello everyone!
I'm just home from collecting my new (to me) 2005 MX5 1.8 Icon and know I'm having a major crush on it because I keep peeking out of the window to admire it!

Its my second MX5 - I've just traded in a '98 1.6 which was fun but had always felt like a compromise - I'd wanted a 1.8 but couldn't find one at the right price when I got that one. She was also a bit battered looking, although always reliable.

However, my new Icon is black exterior and black all-leather interior.....looks like a vehicular dominatrix! This is the car I want to love, cherish and mod.

Hope to meet some of the Central Scotland members soon.

Passed through Falkirk Friday afternoon on our way to Grangemouth and saw a lovely black mk2 with black wheels and polished rim. Saw another black mk1 near Grangemouth about 7pm with topdown and the guy driving seemed well able to handle it

Post some photos please

I'm the same. And when I do it's almost like seeing it for the first time. I kind of forget how pretty the little car I've been driving is and it's like a small, pleasant surprise when I look back.

Hello and welcome. I work in Callander Park, and will keep an eye out for an automotive dominatrix. (?), and wave vigorously.

Only occasionally have the wee "5" at work , so you might get waves from a random Saab estate.

Got the wee car today though, it was too nice a day to leave it in the garage.
