We should have a contingent from Central Scotland going to the Spring Rally although we do have a busy programme of events over the next eight weeks, the Holland & York Easter trips and then the Skye & Lochalsh weekend falling the week before Margam, therefore its only natural for people to be non committal at this early stage.

Please post comments here if you would like to go to Margam Park.

I think Jon was definitely interested in going.

One of the events at the Margam 'Spring Rally' will be the Gambo Rally.

What follows is a post by Mick Paddick, the Rally organiser....

" The South Wales Website with its link to the Margam Park website is now back up, so please have another look on there for the rules.

By the way it?s Gambo. Gumbo is a spicy stew popular in some parts of the USAJ

Here?s what Google found:-
?A thick, robust soup sometimes thickened with okra or file'. There are thousands of variations, such as shrimp or seafood gumbo, chicken or duck gumbo, okra and file' gumbo.?

Kind regards,
Mike Paddick

Joan and I are definately going and have booked up. I is likely that we will head off on the Thursday night and stop with friends in the Lakes, then drive the rest of the way on Friday. If you need any help transporting part of a 'gambo' let me know.

Mail from Mike...

Hello all.

I’ve had several enquiries this last week, so if any of your local members
should ask, there are still tickets available for the Saturday Night Twmpath
at Margam Park.
We currently have 160 places sold out of 200, so it looks like being a good
night. We also have a few coach places left if anyone needs pickup from a
hotel
(certain locations only).

Kind regards,
