Hi I'm Carol, I just discovered the site last night. I got my MX5 in June, it's fab. :D I had a 323 (still got it), the old shape, which I loved to bits and the wee Mazda takes a bit of getting used to but there's nothing like it! 8) I've been reading some comments and agree you can't help grinning at everybody and I already wave at other MX5's but have had no waves yet so look out for a silver Mk2 with black soft top (usually always down despite the weather) and make me feel like part of your community! I'm planning to go to a local pub meet this Thursday which is great 'cause it's just up the road and I'll maybe find out a bit more about the Callander show and whatever else is around, I'm well chuffed (my hubby thinks I'm sad) and what age are the "younger" ones (just wondering if I'll qualify! Look forward to many replies and future events.

Hi Carol and welcome. I hope you enjoy the car and the forum.

As for the age range, when I first joined the Owners' club (a long, long time ago!) I was proud to consider myself one of the younger members but I think I'm definitely getting into the middle age of MX-5 owners now :D

In the words of Ben Folds (a singer/songwriter who appeals to folk my age). "The whizz man never fitted like the whizz kid did"
1998 Mk2 1.8i - owned 2004-2010
1998 Mk2 Roadster VS - sold to MX5parts.co.uk
1994 Mk1 1.8iS - owned 1998-2001
