lol... my first reaction was that you had lost the brakes and were pumping them in an attempt to get pressure. It did a good job because I backed off a hella lot when it first caught my eye :shock:

Interesting feature though :)

Sorry took so long to answer - I've just noticed this.

I now use a Nikon D70 digital SLR with my old optical Nikkor 70-210 mm telephoto lens.

When you use an optical lens with a digital camera you have to apply a multiplication factor of approx 1.6 x optical length - because the digital sensor is smaller than a 35 mm negative size.

This means my 210 mm lens is the equivalent of a 336 mm digital lens.
The narrow angle of view with telephotos means, that they can be used quite satisfactorily with digital cameras.
The best bit is, they're as cheap as chips just now. :D
