Kildrummy Run

Postby grouse » Wed Jul 14, 2004 6:28 am

Hi Tom!
Shall we meet at the Toyota Garage at 9.15am, Sunday?
Is Colin coming?
Mack - do you want to fix a meeting point?
If so, I can send you my mobile no...?
(Or you can give me a gps fix, ha ha!)
Any other takers?
Gordon.

Hi Gordon,
RE: meeting point this Sunday, I was sure there was some talk of a pre run feast on offer somewhere on the forum. So I had a rummage around and what did I find in "Where's Bill and Linda" in North Scotland on 1st July? Have a glance and we'll maybe wait for the fine gentleman himself to suggest the arrangements for Sunday!

Hi Douglas,
some of us Dundonians usually go in a pre-run convoy from Dundee to our meeting point and we start from outside the Toyota Garage on the way out of Dundee (A90 going North). If you fancy being an honourary Dundonian, feel free to meet up with us, but keep checking this Topic in case January Man (aka Colin) comes good with the bacon butties and the Dundee meeting point changes!

By the way, where's Rob aka Aberdeen Phoenix these days!!

Hi Douglas,
I think Rob's work keeps him away from a number of runs per season, but he goes when he can. Hope you're a good back seat-driver (sorry, passenger-seat driver)!

Chic...Let me be the one to offer my commiserations or perhaps its congratulations on having to go and see Cliff, has Heather got you tied to those apron strings or is she just a devil woman, never let it be said we don't talk anymore, maybe the next time you can follow those clear blue skies like me, on a summer holiday and meet up with the young ones of the North :)

Putting bacon rolls on hold

Postby Colin » Fri Jul 16, 2004 3:44 pm

Hi folks

Sorry to disappoint, but Val and I can't make the run this weekend, so no bacon rolls this time round.

We also are having a problem getting access to the Web and e-mail through our new broadband connection, so can't be contacted through this site for a while. However, I'll send Tom "boringchap" Morman my new phone number, so he or you can contact me through that until I get online.

However, living on a building site for the last fortnight means that my 5 is in the most disgusting state it's ever been, inside and out, so I'd probably be banished from the OC anyway ...

Enjoy the run.
Cheers
Colin

Hungry in Dundee!

Postby grouse » Fri Jul 16, 2004 8:31 pm

Looks like it's back to plan "a" then?
Our Sunday routine is McDonalds at 0730 for breakfast with the papers!
That's where I'll be this Sunday....
Reading Doug's post re start time, should we meet at 0900?

Gordon.

p.s. to Doug - You'll be sitting in the dog's seat on Sunday - I reckon he'll be on your lap!!!

Gordon, I agree, 9.00am does give us a bit more comfort to arrive around 10.00am. I'll try and be organised for a change and not be late, now that I have to make my own breakfast
