Booked my space at the Dreadnought for the wheel alignment check. Have the Workshop Manual for Mk2 so will be interesting to see how the figures compare. :?:

I'd like to do a bit of a straw poll regarding the tech day. Of those planning to go, how many would appreciate a visit from a "Dents Wizard" type outfit to do repairs on the day? I need to find out how much interest there is before I go and talk to them. I'm aware of an offer made by Jim (thank you for that offer), but I'm talking about a "do it for you" type outfit.

Your slow Andy  ,you could have retaliated with the boot lid that was sprayed panel to panel, which shows up like a sore thumb if it's not flashed over the rear quarters.........guess i'll get stabbed with Gavins fork  if i sit next to him again at a club run meal  8)

Need to know if anyone else is interested in having a dent(s) removed at the tech day, don't see the point in booking the guys for one job (joking aside about Andy's car) if anyone else is interested could they post here or let Graeme & I know. Thanks for your response Andy.

You are soooooo right Jim. Sticks out even worse in the sunlight. As it was a new boot lid they must have sprayed it prior to fitting. Hence the slight colour difference. What's worse is I got a stone chip on it 2 days after it was fitted :x Hey ho maybe it'll fade.

Take it your not going to prod me at the next meal then Gavin, lol .....maybe i should have shut up,but it was only in jest as a response to your joke with Andy,i knew you'd take it as it was intended. On mica paint you really need to flash over the adjoining panels or it does quite easily show up sadly :(.I am getting my front nosecone painted and bonnet over the winter when i won't really be using the car,the bonnet on mine is a slight different colour, for the same reason as your boot, they never flashed over the wings so this time it will be done proper and thought, best do the whole nose as it has some chips......you will see the difference after this is done as i'm sure at the next run you will be looking at my bonnet

How much are we talking about for dent removal? Maybe if there was an indication of price there might be more replies? (me included).

Si..At Weston we paid ?25-?30 although some had a few dents removed for a little more, Jon will correct me if I'm wrong but I think he paid ?50.00 for 5 dents.
