Impromptu run

Postby Rob and Margaret » Sun Mar 25, 2007 9:49 pm

Thanks Douglas, Linda, Colin, Clare, Phil and Sheila A great day out in spring sunshine, it was good to have a meal with eveyone at one table (although the waiter might have struggled with any more).
A relaxed drive on great roads, the views of the sun setting on Loch Awe and Loch Eck made a wonderful end to perfect day.

Great day out, superb weather, fantastic scenery, good lunch, even a trip on a boat. Best Sunday for quite a while. :D Thanks everybody.

Damn and blast!!!! Read this too late. Linda and I were down in Central Scotland for the weekend and would have loved to join you all.
But just to make up for it, we decided to take the long route home to Golspie from Glasgow yesterday. Glasgow - Arrocher- Inveraray-Taynuilt-Ballachuilish-Fort William-Mallaig-Skye-Plockton-Lochcarron-Garve-Ullapool-Lairg and joined the A9 for the last 4 miles home (we hate the A9)!!!
Fantastic trip and saw a couple of 5's during the run.
When someone gives you a pat on the back make damned sure they did not have a knife in their hand.
