Callander Classics Event 25th-26th August

Postby DouglasH » Sat Mar 24, 2007 2:17 am

I need some ideas of numbers and whether people are staying overnight.
Cost of Rally Plaques are £6.00, this gets you a place on the Central Scotland display area for the two days.
Richard you don't need to vote, I know your staying.

Is there much happening on the Saturday?

I probably can't make the Sunday 'cause I've got a hillclimb at Forrestburn

Saturday is the quiet day, we set up the stand and go for a Lunch Run. The advantage if you go on the Saturday is you can peruse some of the traders that are there (not all go on the Saturday) and buy from them before the crowds appear on the Sunday.

Callander will be more fun, so I elected to stay home.........actually I wasn't invited in the first place!!

If there are several members wanting to go down on the Sunday only, I'll lead a convoy from Dundee.

If there ain't, I won't. I'll look for names nearer the time ...
Cheers

Kim and I will be down for Sat & Sun.

I had a look at the site and apparently theres a field for camping.

Have you any info on this or recommendations for local hotels?

I'd like to have a go at this - Sat & Sun and staying at least one night

BUT

it may change depending on the job situation...but i'll work on the premise that i'll be there
