Indoor Karting at Livingston 22nd April 2007

.... for those that enjoy 'tracking' their car.

Yes I'm interested in the Karting Event and I would prefer...

Option 1-Two separate Grand Prix's giving each team 2 hours on track.

Option 2-Two hour non stop endurance race with 8 teams of 4

Indoor Karting at Livingston 22nd April 2007

Postby DouglasH » Tue Jan 16, 2007 2:44 am

Graham Bell has offered to help organise a Club Karting Day, Sunday 22nd April 2.30. Meet at Toby Carvery Bathgate, 1.45 or come early for lunch. See Events Section for further info.

Looking for about 30-32 people and there are 2 options:-

Option 1 is to have 2 separate Grand Prix, the only down side to this is that the second team would need to wait approx 2 hours on the first team running their grandprix, though they can spectate. Cost £24.00 per head

Option 2 is to have a 2 hour Endurance Race split into 8 teams of 4, the idea is to see who can do the most amount of laps in 2hours and the only stop you get is when you swap drivers. Cost £32.00 per head

These prices include a £4.00 Club Discount pp

Definate for this. Prefer Option 2. Perhaps my son as well if he is not working. Not sure if anyone would want me in the team though!

Count me in.

Had a work session up at Racing Karts back in September doing the Grand Prix thing - had a great time. I've lost over 10kg since then so I should be even more competitive

PS I'd prefer the Grand Prix format.
1998 Mk2 1.8i - owned 2004-2010
1998 Mk2 Roadster VS - sold to MX5parts.co.uk
1994 Mk1 1.8iS - owned 1998-2001
