The difference is clear!

Postby Jim » Tue Sep 19, 2006 11:09 pm

Recently fitted my first purchase from MX-5 Parts :)

I never liked the orange side reflectors and indicator and felt they were very out of place on my silver 2.5 - subtlety preferred

So I've had a 'blonde moment' and fitted the clear side reflectors and indicators - also chrome valve stems and spinning caps but that's another story!

I think they look 8) but realise some might prefer the orange - comments/votes welcome

I think the clear looks fab on silver 5's, much better than the orange, however I don't think the clear would work very well on my car, a BRG.

They look good on your silver car, Jim but I actually quite like the orange ones on my car.

But then I'm a bit of a traditionalist. I got stung with my first ever visual modification (BSP twin headlight conversion on a Mk1) which cost a fortune, looked great but was of VERY low quality. Ever since then, I've resisted mods.

However, with some critical components due for imminent failure on my car (exhaust, shocks, springs), there may be some aftermarket replacements being sought..................

I can't vote either way as I've changed mine from orange to black! I thinks it looks good on the white, have also changed the fuel flap to black too. Don't have pics yet but will soon when I get it washed!
