Dundee to Huntly/Inverness the pretty way!

Hi

This route has become a regular for me as I head north to see my woman - a firm favourite: the route and the woman!

If you're heading from Dundee to Morayshire and want to avoid Aberdeen, trying turning off the A90 at the Edzell/Fettercairn junction through the Cairn O'Mount (pausing at the top to look back over a breathtaking view of Tayside on a sunny day).

Turn off to go through Aboyne (avoiding Banchory), then West to Dinnet. The route from there North is quiet and great fun as long as you don't get stuck behind a caravan who refuses to pull over (easy Colin). You end up at the Huntly roundabout on the A96 about 2 hours from Dundee.

And watch out for wet leaves in the Autumn in the wooded stretches!
Cheers
Colin
