M2 1001 for 14.5k

Postby mgrays » Thu Feb 22, 2018 2:45 pm

Doubt anyone here wants one but here you go.

My first car had a lot of the cosmetic parts fitted .. I still have some fitted to my current car (centre console, steering wheel, handle pulls in ally).

An oddity to peruse.

SAZ basically one of the early Owners Club members who posts on the OC forum considers these car to be the peak of MX5 production. He considers these cars worth the money.

To be honest to get a MK1 fettled to perfection will be a similar price.

I would rather spend that on a 3 or 4 year old 2 litre car but we all have different tastes.

I do really like those front bumpers.

That's some serious money, be interested to see if it sells.

I reposted this on the UK national forum, let's say the car seems to be well known..

Looks a lot of money for a car with questionable history.

No dafter than people who buy "Works Rally Mini's" where the BMC Competitions Department at Abingdon changed the engine and gearbox every Rally and the shell every third Rally!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Or those who spend around £1,000,000 on an old Aston.

I would not do it.
