Road to Mallaig

Went on a cracking drive today from Fort William to Mallaig. Lots of winding roads and beautiful views. The 5 hugged the corners brilliantly as we zipped along in the sun with the top down.

Plus a great chippy in Malliag to celebrate a good drive.

I'm heading to Lewis on Friday for our summer hols.

Not in a 5 unfortunately, however, that will not make the journey any less enjoyable.

If you have not been up the western isles then you really are missing out. I will take plenty of pictures of the journey and post them up when I return. It's truely breathtaking up there.

It's a great road except for the caravans! Drive it every couple of months, lovely in the summer but a bit dodgy in the winter as lots of shady areas which have black ice.
