Lunch in Turriff

Postby PMarley » Sun Jun 02, 2013 6:46 pm

We had a great lunch at the Fife Arms in Turriff. I would highly recommend them, great menu, great food and a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

After leaving home we, headed east along the coast to Portsoy. After Portsoy we headed cross country through Cornhill and Aberchirder and on to Turriff.

After lunch we headed out of town on the A947 to Fyvie and then onto the wee roads through Cuminestown and then north up towards Gardenstown. We then followed the B9031 to Macduff, This is a great little stretch of road :).

We then followed the A98 to Cullen and stopped for icecream before heading home.

We only saw a couple of other 5's on our trip but they didn't wave :(

Now we are looking forward to next weeks trip to Applecross with the Hi 5's

The Fife Arms in Turriff is a well kept secret! We had a marvellous lunch there a few months ago. There was a wonderful crit in the P&J about two years ago and I filed it away mentally for future use. Glad I did!
