What alarm system? - What company?

Postby edddiec » Fri Mar 04, 2005 12:53 am

Need to fit a CAT I alarm to my 1997 1.8SE

Any advice about which one/type to go for. :?

Anybody got a company to recommend for fitting.

Is it worth fitting central locking at the same time & if so hown much does it cost & where do you get it done.

I live in West Central Scotland

cheers

hello eddie,
I have a toad ai606 cat 1 with optional 2 stage shock sensor and a microwave sensor all supplied and fitted for ?300 by skidz in falkirk. Their fitter covers all central scotland and does a good job (I checked his work  ). I have never had any probs or false alarms with it and I'm very pleased with it.

I had the same alarm from skidz. I think they were wanting an extra ?50 to fit central locking. Should still be about the same.

Hannah are a well established company and most of the trade use them, I used them for a warranty claim on my car radio 3 years ago and found them to be very knowledgable and professional, they have mobile fitters too.

Motorsound in Langside (southside) also do alarms 0141 649 9951.

Hannah quoted on a Sigma S34 with a microwave upgrade + fit central locking

?279 for alarm + ?75 to supply/fit CL = ?365 ish
