Tyre sizes

Does anyone know what difference fitting a set of 195/55R14 tyres to my car would make? The ones on it just now are 195/60R14.

cheers

Your speedo would read marginally out as your rolling radius will be slightly changed. Also you may notice a very slight differnce in ride and I mean slight. Just get a set of 15" wheels with 195/50/15 toyoT1S and away you go. I think 15's look better than 14's but that is personal preference.

Hope this helps

Yeah that helps. I though that would be the case with the speedo. But I cant compinsate for it by rotating the face slightly.

I may change the wheels I have, but the ones on my car look not too bad and were fairly new (about 1 year old I think)when I bought the car last sunday

The car should have 185/60 14 std, so you are already out with 195/60 14
