Cold Air Induction

Postby murwilson » Sun Jan 16, 2005 5:33 pm

I've decided to buy a Cold Air Induction system for Lynnes '03 1.8 and have narrowed it down to these two -

Racing Beat high flow assembly with the carbon fibre air duct

R Speed Monsterflow (this is a '94-'97 photo) There is also an air duct available, similar to the racing beat one above.

Performance5 http://www.performance5.co.uk/ stock both at decent prices so will probably order from them.

Does anyone have either of these systems, or perhaps you use a different one? I'd be keen to hear your thoughts before I go spend her money.

PS Not a word to Lynne, she doesn't know!

Murwilson...I fitted the Monsterflow a few months ago, having dabbled in one or two diy cold air systems I finally bit the bullet and bought one, after a great deal of research and commendations from people with the monsterflow, I decided on that make. Easy to fit and excellent noise (she growls in a TVR way) its smiles all the way and thru the Clyde tunnel... well that's something else :D
By the way check out the Moss catalogue, I bought it there as it was a better price, next job is to make a heat shield.
