Anyone tried Michelin CrossClimate tyres?

Postby CaptainNorth » Sun Sep 27, 2015 7:38 pm

As above, an all season tyre with soft compound. Anyone tried them in the snow?

Cheers

No they are a new tyre just released a few months ago.

They are an all season tyre and those of us here in snowey Aberdeenshire would tend to have a set of full winter tyres on a separate set of wheels.

That is what I do with my Impreza and a few others do.

All seasons do not work as well in bad weather.

Yeah I agree Eddie, I had an Impreza turbo wagon. Best car I have ever owned and if they made em still I'd have one in a shot. Had a spare set of alloys and Vredesteins and it was a total hoot in snow with stunning traction. Back in Lazyville I seek the holy grail of a do-everything-well-enough tyre and wonder if this might be it given that we get just a few days or weeks of bad snow. I think I'll give em a shot on the Citroen c1, which is pretty good in snow, if less fun than the Impreza.
