MK3 2.0 Sport

Hi guys,
Looking for quick bit of info. I am gonna replace my full suspension on my MK3. Just like for like really, mine are tired after 50k, and i seen a set going on ebay with Tein springs.

My query is, and I have looked over the net and cannot find anywhere that gives me this answer. Can the rear strut be removed fully intact. I have no reason to split it as i am replacing a full like for like, but in some of the threads and how to's i seen them remove the spring from the shock while on the car, with the trolley jack method under it to compress the spring.

Fronts look fairly straight forward, so dont see any issues there.

So busy time ahead. Just refurbed the front calipers, now the shocks and putting some new brake lines on it too. This is my 2nd MX5 and give them there credit, they handle the miles well.

Yes you can replace as a unit and that is the way Mazda tell you to do the rears in the service manual.
