after several attempts by the dealer to fix the radio he said he could not do I ask me to get an estimate from an electrician and he would pay
I took the car to an electrical firm recommended by maszda

he quote me a couple of hours work but it would appear he has blown up the EMU
the sais hes been told its a common fault and it would appear he is refusing to take responsibility
is there electrician here by any chance who confirm what he is saying please cos I am stuck
cheers

If the EMU should read ECU then I cannot understand how he could blow it up.

It would appear the electrician does not understand what he is doing.

If he has damaged the ECU then are you saying the car will not start.

It would be a case of replacing a number of electronic components from a MX5 specific scrappy like Autolinkuk.

Sounds a bit of a tale to me.

drivers beware
avoid a company called AJ turners of Croydon
I took my MX5 to get the radio fix and he blew up the ECU by connecting a 12v to a 5 volt supply
I am taking him to the small claims court
