Can anybody help me. I have just bought as set of white alloy wheels, and advised tyre size is 1955vr15. Will they fit without alterations to the wheel arches. car is 1998 mx5 mk1. If not what is recomended.

If the size is really 195 55 15 then yes, they will fit. 15 tells us that they are 15" rims, 195 is the width of the tyre, and 55 is the profile ratio. These are fairly standard sizes for the MX-5 (both Mk1 and Mk2)

Hope you made sure that you bought alloys with the correct offset and PCD (i.e. so that they fit the MX-5).
