It arrived !
All the way from the US of A to my door in FIVE DAYS

The quality is astoundingly good and my photo does not do it justice I am afraid.



The matting layout is superb and the gel coat shines very well indeed hence the reflections on it from inside my garage.
The boxing and protection on it for shipping was wayyyyyy over the top.

I have also brought in 20 of the items below. Cup and nick nack holders in tan or black. Saves spilling you drinks hot or cold
You can see in the photos what it does if anyone wishes to make a purchase before I stick them on ebay.
I am keeping 2 for myself of course...LOL
They slot between the seat and consol so NO FITTING

How does the weight compare with a std bonnet

Not weighed it but they "informed" me it was 9lb lighter WITH the metal hood catch built in of course.

Having lifted it across my Garage I have to say it "FELT" a fair bit lighter than the Aluminium one by a bit more than 9lbs though. LOL

As I may be doing away completely with the self raisers / hinges from the bodywork, lock pull lever / wire / and bonnet catch fitted to it at present, and using an individual 4 pin mounting system, then I can see much more weight saving is well possible.
We shall see
