Red & Black cars on National Forum Header...are they you

Postby DouglasH » Tue Dec 14, 2004 11:25 pm

The webmaster has admitted that the Red and Black cars used on the header pages of the National Forum, http://www.mx5ocforum.co.uk/
are owned by Scottish members... so whose are they :?: and why do you think they belong to them/you, :?: can you see any parts that you recognise, :?: is there anything wrong with the pictures :?: come on don't be shy, what do you think :?: could be a prize for the funniest answer, awarded only at the Planning meeting (ploy)

Just to throw a spanner in the works, the Judge :P for this competition has succumbed to the whingers on the National Forum, oops sorry, I meant to say has taken on board positive and constructive suggestions from our forward thinking members of the national forum, apertaining to an improved and refreshing presentation of the forum header.
By introducing an automated random selection of members cars in different colours, unfortunately means you may never again see the original combination of Red and Black cars appearing together. (unless your really sad and sit banging the refresh button for twenty minutes :( )
The black car is the same one top right of this page, here is a picture of the original Red car...

Only kidding, think its a great idea.. just that the timing is ****dy awful, both mine and yours.
Not so sure about the car with two xmas trees in it though.

I think this is a trick question! If they were Scottish cars they wouldn't have the hoods up
I know the black one but I'd have to guess the red one. It's also 6.20 and I've had a crap night's (no) sleep so I can't do witty/funny answers right now

The picture of the red car is developed the wrong way round. (Note the aeriel and no exhaust). Are those 17" OZ alloys? Who's got these?

It's just you...... you've always been slow :D

Each image is roughly 5Kb, so 10Kb additional data to download. However, the flashing logo has been removed (which was about 30 Kb IIRC) so there's actually a net reduction in the amount of data being downloaded.

However, if your cache is full then the images won't be getting saved and then you're probably downloading them on each page visit .........

Can't believe the number of moany gits there's been. Doesn't matter what you do, there'll always be someone moaning

Naw Andy you may be slow and although that car's not moving  its not your colour.

Not Jim's either, besides the slight difference in colour his is much taller  and cleaner.

Could be Jon's cos its out on its own. err..lost  (sorry Jon, troops are really slow in this comp)

Jim...just to make your day, since you were first to post and you never win zilch, you will get a small prize/token, you could of course also get the main prize if Simon picks your entry as the winner.
