Just back in the land of ........?

Postby grouse » Sat Oct 02, 2004 8:02 pm

Hi!

Me and "she who must be obeyed" (navigator) are just back from a week in the Lake District :)
No phones, computers - and not many MX-5's!
Any 5's we saw had hoods up - and didn't wave! English?? :(

We saw a wondrous red sky to the North one night - WOW! :o
Now, we realise it was the candles on somebody's birthday cake!

Belatedly, Happy Birthday, Doug!
One day you'll be as old as me........

As for Chic....... well...?

Don't mention bl***y SatNav! :(

With all that had been going on here, I forgot to load "England"..

Didn't think about it till I got there, 'cos I knew exactly where I was going as we'd been there in May. Anyway, we were there to walk..... :)

But, I have to say, as soon as I crossed the Border (literally), everything lit up and she took us home! :)

Ironically, I collect my new company car today and it's got SatNav built in - can't get away from women telling me where to go..

The 5 will be programmed for Holland, tho'. :)

Oops! just realised I have an identity crisis...
