Dear David

On behalf of Combat Stress I should like to thank the members of the MX5 Club, Scotland for the kind donation of £450.00 following your fundraising efforts throughout 2016. This generous and thoughtful gift will still go a long way to support the vital work we do with veterans and their families and I would be most grateful if you could pass on our warmest thanks to everyone donated. We are looking forward to welcoming club members at Hollybush House in July.

Thanks to your generosity, Combat Stress is able to continue to provide vital support to veterans with mental health issues. Over the past five years we have seen a huge rise in demand for our services with almost 10,000 veteran referrals – an increase of 71%. This rise demonstrates how important it is to ensure that veterans have access to the right specialist clinical services for mental health conditions.

Without our supporters, we would not be able provide timely, effective clinical treatment and support. Veterans are at the heart of all we do and your gift will go a long way in supporting this work in the following way:

£77 A one hour Art Therapy sessions for five veterans
£192 One session with a Combat Stress psychiatrist
£839 One day of Outpatient assessments for veterans leaving our centres

On behalf of everyone at Combat Stress, thank you for helping to make our work possible. Your support is essential to delivering the services that we offer.

Best wishes and kind regards
