No just throwing my toys out of the pram due to the usual internet bollocks, was considering resigning my club affilitations last night...

Diane's not convinced I'm going to sell the Batmobile, Steve at Goodwood is putting a list together of what he's got or is coming in.... hmm

Location: not the end of the world, but you can see it from here or near Inverurie.

I would be inclined to keep the Batmobile until you decide if you can live with the fairly basic Mk1.

Ian, I'd not look elsewhere than Steve for an imported Mk1 either. I'd send my Missus to him for a car.
This got my attention though from Saz.

Scary...though Steve is so on the ball & completely honest I'd say the risks are minimum to zero from him.
There is always an imbecile you never bargained for. Usually in a Tescon carpark with a dented Zafira minus hubcaps

Yes as I mentioned in the post, as we all know the Mk1 has a rust issue, some cars have not rusted externally but unless you do a boroscope inspection and can get to all the hidden voids in front and behind the inner middle sill plate you cannot be sure of no medium term rust.

When I have spoken to Steve he has never mentioned how he confirms a lack of a problem in that hidden area.

I must ask him.
