Just received these, and they look too good to hide away under the car......think I may just drive around with them hanging from the mirror.

Im SAD!!!! Image

Car went in the garage today to have the coilovers fitted, and after they had fitted 3 without any problem they found the last one had a seized bolt and could not get a replacement until next week.

Thanks, would have liked working with you to do them. Only reason I didn't do them myself is I know these jobs can be a pain when you get rusted bolts.

I knew I was leaving it a bit late but I wanted it done for the Ayr run, and I've been away in Northern Ireland all week so today was my first chance to get them done.

The other three look good on the car, and it doesn't look to be sitting too low. Much as I would prefer to go really low, I know from past experience it can be a bit impractical at times. Last mk3 got wedged twice on top of speed humps.

Which bolt was being rude and not coming out, I've done a fair few of these now newer and older ones and never really had any issues, really like to know what drive is like as I'm considering too did you go for the s or the r

Think it was one of the concentric adjuster bolts, they said it was quite common with mx5s, as such find it a bit strange they don't hold a few in stock, as they also say they do a lot of alignments on mx5s.

Will let you know, you can have a drive with it as well if you want to try it

You can do them without taking them out, I thought that would be the one, on the rear I take it, I always pop out joint comes out no probs so as I don't knock out alignment, when I done my first 5 it didn't need adjusted after fitting, could have got them fitted and worry about bolt later when alignment is carried out

Not sure of the reason. They did show me the one they had trouble with, and said the other front was no problem.

I hope so. With a steel ruler across the top of the tyre the gap to the wing was 6cm rear, and 7.5cm front. They will be going down to approx 2cm
