Landrover leather seat split

Postby iain cooper » Sat Oct 11, 2014 9:32 am

my 5 year old Landrover Freelander has developed splits in the sides of the seat bases, well out of warranty.

the seats are leather but the sides are not, look like a pvc leather look alike, and that's where the splits are.

can anyone recommend a leather repair person, anywhere in Scotland, as I don't mind traveling to have it repaired properly ?

thanks

There must be a boat yard near you. They will use someone to mend sails and interiors of boats.

give them a try if the boat yard can advise.

Iain I have used an upholsterer in Hamilton on a few repair jobs on previous cars. He can do everything from repairs to full re-trims. Lots of the guys on the VW classics scene use him.

Send me a pm if you want his number.
