Gordon, my insurance is due for renewal....just got a quote from my current insurers Norwich Union Direct.....3K mileage per year, 250 excess, full no claims bonus = ?380

Tried AON....10K mileage, ?250 excess, same no claims bonus = ?250

Tried SAGA (much against the grain to admit being an old git) same 10K mileage, ?250 excess, same no claims but with full legal cover = ?250

So it looks like AON or SAGA for me. (I heard SAGA supply incontinence pads free as well, very handy for after one of Richard and Eileen's sausage, burger and beer BBQ's)

I agree with Mac, I can't understand any reason for the mileage limitations

Bill, do you think we could spare some pads for Andy - he seems to have a problem with someone's driving.... :D :D

Seriously, tho', I think the important thing with insurance is "how will you get treated if it comes to a claim..?"

I've heard about some bad experiences with some of the "popular" mob who will do anything to get the business, and everything to avoid payout...!

Good hunting!
Gordon.

ps. Do you think that we can totally blame R & E? I blame Ch**!

I blame Ch** as well, he is a very bad influence and got me under it as well. But then, I am easily led.

Ronmac...or anyone for that matter. You got a contact number for AON?

And I gather it's recommended joining the MX5 club (for which I do have a contact number!)

Regards to all,

Chris
