I've just updated the forum to use the latest version of the Tapatalk plugin. If you notice any problems could you please report them here. Note that we have NOT implemented PUSH notifications on this site (unless there's demand for it?)

The Tapatalk plugin has now been updated so you should be able to use the very latest version of the app on your mobile device again.

That latest stable version of Tapatalk has now been installed on this forum (4.6.1) and support for Push notifications is enabled.

Please PM me if you have any problems with the app.

I'm aware of a recent problem with the PM system and have tried a quick fix. If anyone is still having problems with the Tapatalk app then please report them here.

Thanks, and apologies for any problems it's caused.

Use it a lot & find it pretty good apart from the pm problem so thanks Simon for noticing & fixing it ! Also thanks for changing the background screen ! Good to see a nice mx5 than the generic thing that was there before !

Bob - glad you're able to make use of the app and noticed the new background! The photo is of a Mk2 Isola taken last weekend prior to a run up the Duke's Pass near Aberfoyle (not that you can tell that from the photo!).

BoabG and Ian : I'll admit to it taking me some time to warm to using Tapatalk, but after a few months using it on another forum I'm an avid reader of I thought it worthy of applying here. If there alternatives you would like me to explore please let me know and I'll see what I can do to help improve your mobile experience. Pre-requisite is that they're compatible with phpBB v3, and easy for a dummy like me to install :)

Hello was just wondering if anyone else was having problems viewing the forum through Tapatalk ?

Couple of weeks back it was telling me I'd been blocked from the forum which seems to have been fixed but now it's saying the forum is not currently available for Tapatalk ?

Is it just me lol ?

The Tapatalk configuration has been updated so that users have to register on the site (rather than in the app).

The website has been getting a lot of foreign spam recently so the update was done to hopefully stop or reduce it coming if via tapatalk.

Hello Ian

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I had seen the spam etc but didn't realise it was Tapatalk related. Sorry for the technologicaly challenged question but does that mean I can no longer use Tapatalk to view the forum? As I'm sure i registered on the site here 1st & then used the app ?

Updates on the TapATalk servers along with a lack of updates on this site mean the app isn't currently supported. There are no immediate plans to address this.
