Halloween from a different angle

Some pictures taken on the Halloween run using a 'spinner' camera. (Takes a 360 degree shot)
As you can see its a steam camera that uses film that has to be developed and scanned, hence the delay in posting.

Meeting at Stirling

Lunch at Lock Earn Head

Stop at Callendar

Callendar at an angle

Driving Home

Definitely gives a different point of view.

I borrowed the camera from my son. It is a Lomography Spinner 360.

It uses 35mm film and shoots the equivalent of 4 frames per picture.
It is simply a camera mounted on a handle. When you pull the lanyard in the handle it makes the camera spin through 360 degrees with the slit shutter open and drags the film past the aperture.
There are two exposure settings, dull and sunny.
It costs about £125.
You can generate various types of shot depending on how you arrange your subjects and the angle of the camera.
(I'd like to try taking a picture of several MX-5's parked in a circle, all facing the camera. Possible calendar entry for next year???)
The most difficult thing is keeping yourself out of the picture (if that's what you want).
You ned to find somewhere to develop the film without cutting it or printing it. (the pictures posted above were developed at Boots)
For more information on the camera go to
or google lomography spinner 360.

Hope this helps
