Mr Miyagi gets new wheels (an BC coilovers)

Postby monikieman » Tue Sep 28, 2010 6:35 pm

Hi folks,

thought I would share pics of the new aditions to Mr Miyagi.
Rota RB's 15x7 and Toyo Proxis 195x50x15
and
BC Racing coilovers (8kgx6kg springs)

I haven't bothered with the coilover pics as I'm sure they have all been seen before, but the finished height I think looks good. Not too low and nothing scraped so far. Knees a bit stiff when getting out though!!!

Changing coilovers took 2 1/2 hours (yes, they have been off before and slapped with coppaslip)

Got a good deal with the coillies and wheels from NCB motorsport (Mark) who applies a 10% nutz discount.

Hi Paul,

I was dis-allowed from getting gold!!!

I sold some stuff and was informed not to put the money towards the new kitchen. :P

"Get a set of wheels for the car" she said. She never had to say it twice and I didn't want to push my luck so I went for the gun metal.

Cheers

Looking good there Brian :) Sorry I missed you the other day. My wife tells me you've been splashing out on a new exhaust too!

Ah, yes!!

surprised you've not heard it yet. It does get quieter over 4000 rpm so it's not too bad.

Will pop round some time.

Cheers

You have a great taste in wheels mate :D
Previously in a 2003 Montana, now in a 1991 V-Special...

I did have a look at your wheels when you posted pics. Looks good as well. Took a while to decide but no regrets.

Many thanks

Where did you get such a wife?
There is always an imbecile you never bargained for. Usually in a Tescon carpark with a dented Zafira minus hubcaps

My wife's almost like that, I sold some stuff and was informed to put the money towards the new kitchen :)

By the way, superb looking wheels. At the moment I'm somewhere between envy working up to outright jealousy  . You thinking about coming along to the run on the 10th to let us see it in the metal?

Cheers

Re the run next Sunday, it's to the borders, but not too sure where. By the way, I take it you're not fully enamoured with Dundee's vision of the waterfront. I'm sure it'll look bonny when it's finished and we can all drive through it in our MX5 Mk 9.5s

The run is in the wrong direction for me that weekend. Will be up Pitlochry way.

Best wishes
