A couple of pics from a recent trip in Perthshire. From Ben Lawers to the Bridge of Balgie and Glen Lyon there is a great series of roads if you've got time to explore...

Hi Brad, yes these are some roads, a good many years ago I lived up there, at the top of Glenlyon, near the dam. The road over Ben Lawers wasnt
passable for cars then and there were locked gates on the Killin side of the dam, so unless you were local it was,nt possible to go all the way through
the glen, just a bit of usless onfo.

Thanks Sarah!

Alice - it must have been a great place to live! Particularly in the summer months - although I'm sure it would have been quieter before the road was opened to the public. When we were there we passed a classic car rally coming the other way. About 40 cars in all, from Minis to Mk1 Escorts (including a very nice Mexico), and even a Porsche and Ferrari or two... All having a great time although probably not making life any more peaceful for the locals!
