Just arrived - now to book a couple of days off!

Postby 71NotOut » Tue Aug 10, 2010 1:28 pm

My latest purchase just got delivered to my work.

Only ordered yesterday afternoon so excellent service.

1 can of Dinitrol Rust converter, 4 cans of cavity wax and 6 cans of underseal :D

Now I just need to book a couple of days off to get it all done.

Cheers,
Steven

P.S. Does anyone know how the chrome sill covers on a Mk2.5 come off? I can't see any obvious screw heads?

I'll just wear my old overalls from when I was a self employed valeter.

.....and 3 stone lighter :D Wonder why they won't fasten any more?

And mask and goggles.

Are scuff plates the same as sill covers? If so then they are held on by hidden clips under the plate itself. Just simple pull upwards to disengage the clips.

Hope this helps.

Steve

I have some seriously large ramps you can borrow if you want - and have transport for!

That will get your car up to 18" in the air...

Just power wash them before returning!

Thanks Si, and thanks David!

I'll take you up on those if that's ok - I have the weekend 18/19 Sept earmarked for this so I'll give you a shout closer to the date.
