Well I thought I should put up some photos of my new mk1, freshly imported from Japan in October 2013. Well some photos.

Never seen front wings like that are they an aftermarket fitment!

I assume it has recently been re sprayed, nice car!

Now that is a nice wee car. A history of how you managed to secure your latest would be interesting.........especially for those like me who have never considered purchasing an import 'direct'.

Thanks guys. The wings are fibreglass and they're aftermarket. I wasn't fond of the them at first but they've grown on me.

No it's not been resprayed. It's the original paint. It's only done 22,000 miles.

I went through a company in Newcastle JM-imports to be exact, to import it for me, cost me more doing it that way but it safer and I didn't need to worry about anything. They serviced and undersealed the car also fitted a fog light.
