I have walked across it, up and down the cantilevers, even under the railway tracks, climbed right down from top to bottom, and have photos to prove it.....that was in the year 1960, when I was employed in the DAL Queensferry, before the fire that ruined the employment of many a nice??? young lady...........say no more, but Port Edgar was open, as was Rosyth.....lots of sailors, lots of girls..........heaven!!!!

Hi Henk/Henny, glad that you both enjoyed your day out with some of the Tay5liders group.it was a great day despite the weather and as a bonus managed to take you places that Alex and Alice had never visited either !!.
The meal in the Victoria Resturant was excellant too !! the chef Tom made the meal even better by coming to see us at the table to ask if we were enjoying our food !! we all did !!
Equally happy that you enjoyed Scotland and all it's sights and had a safe journey back home plus car now all washed and shiney too !!
Recieved you email other day and hopefully jen and I will see you when we visit Remmel and his wife ! give them our regards when you see him on your trip to Germany.
:D :D :D
