Minor brighness, contrast, shadow, highlights, whichever mode the EXR chose took care of the rest.

Lovely shots, even if they were "improved"

I think by it's nature, Digital photgraphy is required to be "tweeked".

I have seen some pretty dull and throw-away photo's transformed into amazing works of art with a bit of photo-shopping.

If you can stir an emotion, then surely that's what matters, regardless of how you got there ;-)

Dave I agree that digital enhancement can really add a lot and I have seen some real corkers with a bit of artistic licence (also seen a few not so good :wink: but ...not these Ian)
Just thought the July Blue sky and Green fields was a just a little bit over cooked for a Spring shot :D that was all

I generally find digital output requires a little subtle help to bring out the detail, at least with the camera I have just now which although excellent has quite a small sensor. Maybe the blues are a little bright and the greens a little fresh but it was an exceptional spring day of 22 deg which may be difficult to achieve in July :lol:

Ian.....The 2nd picture should definately be submitted as an entry to STHT.
