birthday present

Postby tjay » Fri Feb 04, 2011 6:13 pm

Hi,some of you will know that it was my 60th birthday last week, so after some serious talking between Jen and I we went out for a look see.
I/we both knew what was wanted, a 2008 Niskeo hard top in sunlight silver, visited various garages, saw various car before settling on the one below.
One owner, only 13000 mls fsh in Arnolds Clarks Aberdeen,so of we went, had a test drive, agreed a price, bought it !! drove home with big grins on both our kippers !! braw.
Have been on the net and bought a few bits and pieces for it, and no doubt some thing else will enter my mind later too.

:D Thanks for all the comments,re old car !! not made up my mind wether to sell or not, dont need as it's sitting in the garage,I have over the new year bought some others bits for it,rear spoilers, upper/lower,st/st brake hoses, discs, pads ect.
It's booked in next week to be mot'd and parts fitted, spoilers are to be painted and fitted along with the tow bar that i bought,so still an ongoing project.
My neice has made a very good offer to purchase it and i have told her that she will get first refusal if I decide to sellit
No ru*******sh at all.
cheers

Happt belated Tom. I loved the Niseko when it first came out a dribbled all over the one in the showroom. Loved the blue colour and chocolate leather. Reminded me of mint choc chip icecream.
I'm sure we will see it in the flesh soon enough, and what a great present too. :D
