Wishbone Ash - Sunday 28th October

Postby Alex » Wed Oct 17, 2007 11:00 am

This has been discussed under another thread - we may have a few people who fancy a night out at The Ferry in Glasgow, to see this 70's guitar band, so I thought I'd start a new thread here -

Do you want me to arrange some tickets, and we can settle up at the next pub meet?

£12.50 + £1.50 booking fee.

Add names to this list, you have until Friday to join us!

ALEX
DOUGLAS

Or you can book direct through Tickets Scotland - http://www.tickets-scotland.co.uk/

I'm hoping to organise tickets on Friday, or very early next week - anyone else interested before I do that?

Alex, Douglas and Frank are booked, so anyone else who would like to join us should get tickets from Tickets Scotland as detailed above.

Rock on!

Just a note to say this concert took place and was BRILLIANT!

Thanks for the company Douglas, Frank and Carol, and sorry if it wasn't quite 'your thing' Carol!! To be fair, you could probably have guessed that!!!

As you would notice the rest of us enjoyed it thoroughly!

What's next?

Tickets seem to be available if anyone is interested?

Tuesday 11th or Wednesday 12th December, £20.75 standing, £25.25 seated

I'd like to keep it cheap, so might vote for standing......what do others think?

I would be interested in going Alex but my interest would wane if it were standing tickets. My back hurts if I stand for more than five minutes and I wouldnt be comfortable. I would go with the flow though if most wanted standing.

copied from my other post on Monday...

Yes it did go ahead and a great time was had by all . Met fellow Central Scotland Members Alex and Frank, along with another guest at Wotherspoons on Argyle St Glasgow, had a wee refreshment partly inside and partly al-fresco (when the fire alarm went off) and then wandered round to the venue. Support band were a bit ott but the Ash were brilliant, I half expected not to enjoy it with the new line up and some of the new material but was pleasantly surprised when most of the numbers were from the back catalogue. Superb night, parking was a dawdle, with it being Sunday. thanks guys for your company.
