cubby removal (**** annoying) an a 'appy new year

Postby lowrider » Sat Jan 13, 2007 10:21 pm

 First time on the site in a while hello a'body and a happy 2007 !
Story so far, my brg v spec has a new suspension set up.....sweet and a new sachs clutch mmmmmm nice . The whole car feels responsive an tight, just like a sports car should, anyway onto the post.

My cd player has stopped working and I need access to the rear of it, problem is I can't find out how to remove the add on cubby, its not attached at the back it only seems to be clipped in at the sides. Anyone removed one of these types before. I thing I am going to break it if I use brute force so if I do does any one know where to get a new one and how much they cost cheers, AG.

Remove centre console, There should be 2 srews under it, remove centre air balls (vents) these should pull out and you will find a screw in each one and 2 screws 1 at either side of the radio cubby and out it should come.

No doubt I've forgotten something but I think that's it

Have fun and a happy new year
